“The Sticky” was a lot of fun!
Chronology
When maple syrup producer Ruth Landry finds her livelihood under attack by greedy competitors who were once her friends, she hatches a plan to get revenge and shake up the industry. Loosely based on the $18 million maple syrup heist from a Quebec warehouse in 2011-12 that resulted in five people being sentenced to prison.
But I was particularly impressed with Margo Martindale – she absolutely shines in her role
The entire cast was phenomenal, with Jamie Lee Curtis delivering a brilliant performance as always. The snappy, witty dialogue kept me constantly entertained, and I’m really hoping for a second season.
I hope the creators decide to give us more!
This show has a unique blend of humor and crime drama that I haven’t seen in a long time. The unexpected twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the series, and the Canadian setting added a unique flavor to the story.
